Imagine this: You’ve been running for a little more than two miles. You’re almost to the finish line. You see the one thing you’ve been craving waiting for you at the finish line. Beer (insert heart eye emoji here). The 4th Annual Bottoms Up Beer Run is a fun 4k that combines running (or walking) with homebrew along the way, and at the finish line. Now this sounds like our form of exercise!
On Saturday, starting at 3 p.m., the 4th Annual Bottoms Up Beer Run will be at Wickham Park, in Melbourne. This isn’t your typical 4k run. The Beer Run will include five different homebrews for runner’s enjoyment along the course. Feeling a little tired? No problem! Stop and have a 4oz sample of beer.
Participants that are 21 and up receive four 4 oz beer shots along the race course and finish with a full beer to celebrate their accomplishment. If running and drinking isn’t your thing, don’t worry. There will be plenty of water along the course for you.
The 4th Annual Bottoms Up Beer Run in Melbourne is timed by Running Zone, so you can race your way through the course quickly to achieve a new personal best, or if you’re more like us, you can take your time enjoying the brew samples along the way and laugh at how long it took you to run a 4K. Whichever you prefer!
The Beer Run is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with your friends and family. Feeling festive? Dress up in epic costumes or create a team theme.
