Gather friends and family and head over to the Cocoa Beach Pier on May 13 for an enjoyable walk on the beach to benefit a great cause. The National Kidney Foundation’s 6th Annual Footprints In The Sand Kidney Walk is not only a walk but a celebration of life, including sandcastle building contest and a paddle-out.

When: May 13, Check-in time: 8:30AM, Start time: 10AM

Where: Westgate Resorts Cocoa Beach Pier, 401 Meade Ave, Cocoa Beach

The National Kidney Foundation’s Kidney Walk is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness of kidney disease and raise funds to support lifesaving programs for patients, their families, and those at risk. This fundraiser benefits kidney disease research, catching it early and giving treatment before the kidney disease causes significant damage.

The 6th Annual NKF Cocoa Beach Foot Prints in the Sand founders, chairs, and organizers Rich Salick, Billy Hahn, and Jamii Martin are all kidney recipients that were given a second chance at life.
