It's that time of year again folks, when you can look to the skies above Cocoa Beach and watch the Nave Seals jump out of their planes while F-16's go screaming by. The 2011 Cocoa Beach Air Show
is upon us and this is a weekend packed with festivities. The event takes-off Friday evening at Coconuts on the Beach
with a twilight jump by the Navy Seal Team at 6:45. Air Show Village opens Saturday morning at 9am at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach where there will be military aviation displays and demonstrations for the entire family.
2011 is the 100th anniversary of Naval Aviation and the Cocoa Beach Air Show will feature the U.S. Navy F-18 Super Hornet and the Navy Seals Leap Frogs.
A diverse line up of military and civilian aircraft and parachute teams will showcase extremes in virtually every aspect of aviation. The air show will take place over the Cocoa Beach waterfront from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. each day. Lori Wilson Park is show center and the air show can be viewed from Minutemen Causeway to the Route 520 intersection!
