Bioluminescence Kayak Tour

Bioluminescence Kayak Tour Have you ever wondered what it might be like to go kayaking at night? What if while you were paddling you began to see the water lighting up? That would be the bioluminescent creatures in the water!

What are they?

During the summer months, these creatures called Dinoflagellates are out and ready to play. They are micro-organisms that create their own blue-green light, which creates a nice trail of glowing lights as you paddle. The experience is absolutely breathtaking and if you are just visiting the area for a week or so, you need to add this to your To-Do list.

Where can we go?

A1A Outdoors has you covered! They offer a bioluminescence kayak tour all summer long. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday they go out and show you just how amazing the experience really is.  $45 a person and they provide you with tour guides, life jackets, and most importantly your kayak and paddle. You guys take off out of Banana River Park in Cape Canaveral and spend the next 2 hours paddling around, mesmerized by the glowing river. Pick up your phone today and schedule a date with the people at A1A Outdoors!
