Mardi Gras Headed to Downtown Cocoa Village

It’s that time of year again to party New Orleans style with authentic Cajun food, a parade with over 30 floats, vendors and live entertainment, with special musical guest’s, Pepper and Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers.

This year’s Cocoa Village Mardi Gras will be hosted in downtown Cocoa Village and will be on Saturday, February 21st, beginning at 5 p.m.

Resident’s love this party so much because of it’s an authentic New Orleans styled food and celebration.

The event will include three stages, with musical guests starting as soon as the gates open, at 5 p.m. H

eadliners of this year’s event will include, Pepper and Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers.

Other musical guests featured will be Hor!zen, Coastal Breed, UNRB, Moska Project and a live DJ.

Cocoa Village Mardi Gras brings authentic Cajun and New Orleans styled food, right here, to Brevard County. There will be a Louisiana Shrimp Boil by Fishlips, along with multiple food vendors, bringing their own twist to Cajun food.

One of the most popular attractions at this event is the parade, which will begin at 6:45 and continue for a full hour.

Mardi Gras parades are known for their extravagant and decorative floats, which is exactly what residents can expect from Cocoa Village’s Mardi Gras.
