The talented and rising reggae artist, Collie Buddz, is scheduled to perform an outside concert at Millikens Reef in Port Canaveral, on Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m.
Buddz is known for his hit song, “Come Around,” and has recently released a new record, “Light It Up,” which he will play for his fans during his concert at Millikens Reef.
Recently joining the label Louder Than Life, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, Buddz is ready to take his music career to the next level and perform at venues he has never been to before.
According to his website, colliebuddz.com, he grew up on the island of Bermuda, where Reggae music was played every day and night.
Buddz’s childhood was shaped and influenced by Reggae music.
By the age of 12, Buddz was already singing and performing Reggae music.
His small neighborhood quickly learned how unique and talented the 12-year-old boy was.
“Back then, I just used to plug headphones into the microphone jack of a tape deck. I’d sing into one of the earpieces and record it on cassette,” Buddz said, according to an interview on his website.
At the age of 19, Buddz attended Full Sail Academy in Orlando and received a degree in audio engineering, where he then began to pursue his music career.
With a few years of producing his own music, Buddz’s hard work has paid off and his career is expanding rapidly.
Tickets are now on sale for the Collie Buddz concert and can be purchased for $20 to $30, on ticketmaster.com.
