Spring in Brevard brings music, food, and endless opportunities for fun. From festivals and concerts to free movies in the park and tons of food trucks, we’ve rounded up the best ways to celebrate in the sun. From late March to May, explore the best events in Brevard this spring.


3/22 – Drag in the Village, Murdock’s Southern Bistro: Enjoy a lively drag show at Murdock’s in Cocoa Village for fun and lots of dancing! The event starts at 10pm. 600 Brevard Ave, Cocoa

3/24 – Movie In The Park & Adoption Event: Secret Life of Pets: Celebrate the loving, loyal pets in your life at Wickham Park during a screening of The Secret Life of Pets. The SPCA of Brevard Adoption Center will be present with adoptable animals and there will be tons of food trucks and vendors to explore. This event is free and runs from 4:30pm – 8pm. 3/25 – Canaveral National Seashore Star Party: From 7pm – 12am, get lost in the beauty of observing the celestial sky with local astronomy clubs. Telescopes will be available for viewing stars and planets. Bringing snacks is encouraged. Viewing spaces are limited, call 321- 403-9334 to reserve your spot. 212 S Washington Ave, Titusville

3/25 – 3/26 – Daily Bread Strawberry Festival, Eastern Florida State College: The Daily Bread Strawberry Festival is a family friendly event celebrating everyone’s favorite spring fruit: strawberries! Enjoy live entertainment, food, arts and crafts, and an open car and bike show on Saturday. There will be a fun run/walk on Sunday. The event is from 10am –  7pm. 250 Community College Pkwy SE, Palm Bay

3/25 – 3/26 – Titusville Strawberry Festival: Partake in contests for the whole family or indulge in a pancake breakfast with fresh strawberries. Show off your dog on a walk throughout the mall. There’s plenty to do with the kids, take them on a pirate ship and watch their imagination run wild. Explore tons of vendors and food. The event is from 10am –  7pm. 3550 S Washington Ave, Titusville


4/1 – The Village Has Lost Its Idiot 3rd Annual 5K, Village Idiot Pub: Run around this idiot-proof course exploring Cocoa Village. Start and finish at the Village Idiot Pub in Cocoa Village. There will be a special craft beer waiting at the end of the course (for those 21+, of course) and craft soda for those under 21. The challenge is to find the Village Idiot, and if you wear something true to the theme, you could win an awesome prize. A portion of the proceeds goes toward Children’s Hunger Project, a local charity that benefits children in need. 4 Harrison St, Ste 103, Cocoa

4/8 – 5th Annual Space Coast Dragon Boat Festival: Watch an age-old Chinese tradition come to life on the Banana River. Grab a bite from one of the food trucks, enjoy watching the races in the beer garden, or shop in the marketplace. Bring your kids along to play in the interactive kids’ zoneThe festival is from 9am – 4pm. Manatee Sanctuary Park, 701 Thurm Blvd

4/8 – Fishlips Martini Fest: The 9th Annual Martini Fest at Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill is back and better than ever. Enjoy all-you-can sample martinis from the restaurant’s talented bar team, including the Sassy Señorita, Koko Loco and the C/O. The drinks get more creative every year, you won’t want to miss it. 610 Glen Cheek Dr, Cape Canaveral

4/22 – 4/23 – 33rd Annual 2017 Melbourne Art Festival: The 33rd Annual 2017 Melbourne Art Festival kicks off with the 5K flamingo run at 7:30am. Enjoy art, live music, and local food vendors. The proceeds from this event are used to promote and encourage artistic endeavors, local high school scholarships, and art education of our local students in Brevard County. 4/29 – Men on Fire, Heritage Isle Clubhouse:  This is the first Men on Fire event bySPCA of Brevard Adoption Center. Local firefighters will walk the catwalk with adoptable dogs while you enjoy snacks and drinks. Tickets are $35 and seating is limited. 5/14 – Mother’s Day Brunch & Jazz Cruise, 11 AM – 3 PM: Treat your mom to an all-inclusive day out on the water for Mother’s Day! The Antonio Escapa Treo will perform.
