Hell ‘N Blazes Brewery Coming to Downtown Melbourne

Locals from Brevard County are always welcoming new places to enjoy finely crafted ales, lagers and barely wines. Hell ‘N Blazes Brewing Company is scheduled to open in Downtown Melbourne’s former Christmas Cottage building on New Haven Avenue, this fall.

Family owned, Hell ‘N Blazes Brewing Co. is operated by a tight-knit group of family and friends who all have a passion for bold and uniquely crafted beers.

Don Difrisco, the owner and creator of Hell ‘N Blazes Brewing Company, is an entrepreneur, financial expert and the creative genius behind it all.

Another team member of the up-and-coming microbrewery is Brewmaster Todd Furbeck, who has won multiple awards for crafting outstanding and unforgettable brews.

Furbeck has won many awards, some of them including first place in this year’s Best Florida Beer Championship and third place in last year’s Commercial Division of Commande & Sazz.

Hell ‘N Blazes Brewing Company is planning on hiring the equivalent of nine to 10 full-time employees, who work hard and truly enjoy artisan beers.

“It’s great to see more breweries opening up in our area. It’ll definitely be a relief to finally get some good craft beer,” said Robert Perrini, a downtown Melbourne resident.

“We don’t really have anything like this around us down here. It will be a nice change of scenery and probably our new hangout spot,” said Cheryl Perrini, Robert Perrini’s wife.

The Perrini’s said they are always looking for new craft beers to test out.

One of the reasons this microbrewery is different than others in the region is that dogs are more than welcome to accompany their owners as they enjoy a cold pint.

After opening, Hell ‘N Blazes plans to offer brewery tours for guests to learn about the beers on tap and how they are made, but more importantly you will get to taste some of the beers.

According to their website, the building where Hell ‘N Blazes is going to reside was in built 1890, which means the building needs a lot of renovating. The staff has not released an official opening date yet, but Hell ‘N Blazes plans to open sometime in spring 2016.
