Welcome to Rusty's Seafood and Oyster Bar, located in the beautiful waterfront harbor of Port Canaveral! A "come as you are" family restaurant where you can enjoy the cozy southern feel of dining inside, or on our outside patio overlooking the water. Sit at our full service inside bar and enjoy the friendly bartenders while they shuck you fresh oysters. Rusty's has 42" flat screens and other various tv's that play water related video entertainment. There is always something for the whole family to watch.

We always have a fun and friendly atmosphere that will put a smile on your face. Rusty's isn't just a place to come and eat, but also a great location for holiday parties or any special event.

Dive into our raw or steamed oysters, peel-and-eat shrimp, seared ahi tuna, buffalo wings, snow crab legs, a hearty bowl of our seafood or clam chowder. Wash it down with a pitcher of ice cold beer or your favorite cocktail, ice tea or soda.  

It began on October 31, 1948 when Bernard Fischer opened one of the first restaurants in Cocoa Beach.... Bernard's Surf. Bernard was a member of the Fischer family, which owned and operated a fleet in Port Canaveral when it was nothing more than a small fishing village. From the very beginning to their continued success more than 60 years later, the Fischer family has not only served their community, but has hosted astronauts, movie stars and celebrity journalists.

When Bernard Fischer passed away in 1965 the family asked his nephew, Rusty Fischer to take over the restaurant. Though Rusty was in college at Florida State University, he knew his family needed him and he came home. By 1988, Rusty had opened the first Rusty's Seafood and Oyster Bar, which became an instant success and in 1993 he opened Rusty's at the Port. Today, Rusty and his son Rhett (a fourth generation restauranteur) continue the family tradition in Port Canaveral where it all began. The future of Port Canaveral is exciting and the Fischer Family looks forward to serving their community and the world for another 60 years!
