Main Street Titusville is a calibration of independent business owners, merchants, property owners, financial institutions, professional, and service businesses, residents, local government, community partners, industry, schools, and businesses outside the commercial district that all benefit from a revitalized district. By supporting the rehabilitation, maintenance, and expansion of the historic district ensures the stability of the local economy.
Main Street revitalization program is a coast-to-coast movement led by the National Trust Main Street Center that has established nearly 2,000 community programs across the country during the past two decades. The original program initiation began with a three-year demonstration project designed to study the reasons so many downtowns were dying. In 1977 the National Trust developed its pioneering Main Street Approach to commercial district revitalization.
Main Street Titusville also works with the City of Titusville to offer community events like TitusNites Street Parties, Cruise-Ins Antique Car Shows and other events that support Downtown Titusville. For a list of community events please visit our calendar at www.DownTowntitusville.org.
