Part Two: Events in Brevard this Summer

Summer in Brevard means outdoor concerts, block parties and festivals, compelling residents and visitors to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. Mark your calendars because there are a ton of upcoming events in Brevard this summer. From riverfront concerts and fireworks on the beach, to food and beer festivals, you’ll always have something to do this summer. Here is our guide to events in Brevard this summer.

7/29 – Pokemon Go Pub Crawl in Downtown Melbourne: Collect Pokemon at Pokestops during the Pokemon Go Pub Crawl in Downtown Melbourne. The Pokemon Go Pub Crawl will begin at Off the Traxx and travel through the strip in Downtown Melbourne.

7/30 – Candlebox at Riverfront Park in Cocoa Village: The day begins at noon to celebrate Blue Moon Brewing Co.’s 21st birthday with volleyball, cornhole, food & plenty of Blue Moon. The night will be finished off with a concert headlined by Candlebox and several other artists. Come out and enjoy this epic celebration in style in Cocoa Village.

7/30 – Christmas in July Sip & Stroll in Cocoa Village: Historic Cocoa Village is getting a jump on the Christmas season. Ticket includes wine sampling and snacks, beer tasting, chance to win gift baskets and more. For the ticket price (cash only) of $20 in advance, $25 night of event (after 3 PM) , you will receive a Sip & Stroll commemorative wine or beer glass, shopping bag and a map of the participating merchants.

7/30 – Kid-a-Palooza Summer Splash at Wickham Park: Summer Splash is an inflatable water park, plus vendors, food, games, and the K2K kid’s Mud Run. The K2K tickets are on Eventbrite for just $25., which includes an awesome medal for finishers and a wristband for the unlimited water park.


8/12 – Slightly Stoopid at Cocoa Riverfront Park: You can’t go wrong with outdoor summer concerts in Brevard. Slightly Stoopid is back and ready to put on an awesome show, along with SOJA and Fortunate Youth! Concert starts at 6 p.m.

8/13 – Rock & Roll Pub Crawl in Cocoa Village: Dress up in your best rock & roll inspired costume and tour through Cocoa Village. The pub crawl will make stops at Murdock’s Bistro, Ryan’s Village Pizza, Village Idiot and Dog N Bone.

8/26 – Tropical Pub Crawl in Cocoa Beach: Embark on the epic pub crawl that will stop at Jenna’s Breezeway, Casablanca, Coconuts on the Beach, Twin Finnegan’s and Venice at Cocoa Beach. Additional tickets may be purchased for $15 in advance online or $20 at the start (Jenna’s Breezeway). Some of the venues will have advance tickets by August 1st.

5/16-5/22 – American Craft Beer Week at Florida Beer Company: All week long Florida Beer Company will have special deals and limited releases on craft beer. Over 4,400 small and independent craft breweries have united to create a nationwide craft beer celebration.

5/21 – Fairy Garden Festival  at the Rockledge Gardens: This event is all about family fun! Bring the kids over to Rockledge Gardens, where they can meet fairies, get face paintings, get a photo with Tinkerbell and participate in a scavenger hunt. The festival will be on Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

5/29 – Annual Memorial Day Weekend Parrothead Party at Capt. Hiram’s: Starting at 1 p.m., Capt. Hiram’s, in Sebastian, will have live music with Jimmy Buffett tribute bands all day, $3 Landsharks and other awesome specials. Visit Capt. Hiram’s to get your tropical fix!


6/03 & 6/04 – Cocoa Village BBQ & Blues Festival: This event showcases two days of world-class blues music, and the best BBQ in the south competing for over $10,000 in cash prizes. There will be a Friday night pub crawl through the Village, vendors, live music and more throughout the weekend.

6/04 – Big Band in the Square on Eau Gallie Arts District Mainstreet: Jam out to the sounds of the Space Coast Big Band, featuring international performers and recorders. There will be dancing, music, drinks and more. The event starts at 7:30 p.m.

6/11 – 4th Annual Bottoms Up Beer Run: While walking or running, participants will be able to enjoy five different homebrews for their enjoyment along the course. When they cross the finish line, a full beer will be waiting for them to celebrate their accomplishment.

6/11 – 8th Annual Space Coast Beach Fest: Benefitting Surfers for Autism, this festival has been popular on the Space Coast since the start. Fun for the whole family, the Space Coast Beach Fest will have surfing, paddle boarding, music, games, interactive exhibits and so much more.

6/11 – 11th Annual Sandbarapallooza: Head over to Sandbar Sports Grill for their Annual Sandbarapollooza. Live music from 10 bands, all day long. Live music by Danny Morriss, Stoney and the Houserockers, Hit and Run, Red Tide, Moses Minions and more!

6/17 – Canaveral Mac Attack Fishing Tournament: $10,000 in prizes for Kingfish, Dolphin and Wahoo. This event held in The Cove at Port Canaveral will have a Captain’s Party held on Friday night and Saturday will be the fishing day. There will be vendors, food, drinks and live action.

6/18 – FlowVolution Florida at Wildlife Watersports: Jam out with Hot Pink, Gary Lazer Eyes and other local favorite bands in a joint effort to save our rivers, lagoons and coastlines! This community event, beginning at 2 p.m. will have tons of good food and live music! Admission is free.

6/18 – 3rd Annual Bacon Beer Bash at Intracoastal Brewing Co.: This bash will include five different bacon brews that are made with real bacon, live music, food trucks and free samples of the pig roast. The fun starts at 3 p.m.

6/19 – Celebrate Father’s Day: Bugnutty Brewing Company, Rockledge Country Club and The Indian River Queen will have awesome specials to celebrate Father’s Day. For more info, please visit our Events Calendar. 

6/24- Hell ‘n Blazes Brewing Company Grand Opening- After a year of taproom renovation, Hell ‘n Blazes Brewing Co. are finally opening their doors. The 300+ capacity taproom has bar seating, high and low-top tables, lounge areas and a game room. There will be food trucks, a coffee brew tent, music and of course – beer!

6/25 – Cocoa Beach Sip N’ Stroll: Head to Downtown Cocoa Beach for a evening full of wine, food and items from your favorite local shops. Enjoy wine and food samples as you walk from shop to shop in Downtown Cocoa Beach.

6/25 – Mahi Mark’s Pool Party at Sandbar Sports Grill: Join Mahi Mark at Sandbar Sports Grill for their annual Pool Party. There will be live music, prizes and giveaways.

6/26 – Rebelution at Cocoa Riverfront Park: Almost every year, Rebelution makes a stop in Cocoa Village’s Riverfront Park to put on an epic show. This concert is one of the local’s favorite things to do during the summer and it’s always a good time. Be sure not to miss out! Show starts around 5 p.m.


7/02 – Fireworks over the harbor in Port Canaveral: This family-friendly event attracts thousands of people every year. There will be a street party with food and drinks, along with a fireworks display over the water, after dark.

7/03 – Fireworks over the ocean in Cocoa Beach: Near world-famous Ron Jon’s Surf Shop, in Cocoa Beach, residents and visitors gather on the beach for an epic fireworks display over the ocean. Grab a blanket, cold drink and watch the fireworks sparkle over the ocean.

7/03 – Palm Bay Fireworks: The Palm Bay Independence Day Celebration, starting at 4 p.m. will be on Eastern Florida State’s Palm Bay campus. There will be live music and entertainment, food, a kids play area and so much more. The fireworks extravaganza will start at 9 p.m.

7/04 – Fireworks over the river in Cocoa Village: Families and friends gather in Cocoa Village on 4th of July for a night full of fun, family attractions, live music and drinks. As the fireworks go off over the river, a symphony will be playing patriotic music to celebrate our country.

7/04 – Great American Celebration in Viera: Join your friends and family for Viera’s signature summertime event at the Great American Celebration at the Berm Space Coast Stadium, starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets to the event are $15 and include all-you-can-eat BBQ dinner catered by Slow and Low, a commemorative t-shirt and an amazing fireworks show.

7/04 – 4th of July Firecracker 5k & Honor America Parade in Melbourne: The Firecracker 5K will begin at 7 a.m. at the Liberty Bell Museum in Melbourne. Dress in your best patriotic costume for a chance to win prizes. After the race, the Honor America Parade will begin (time and place TBA). Later that evening the city will host a fireworks display.

7/04 – Red, White & Boom in Titusville: Starting at 7 p.m. The Red, White and Boom event will have live music, delicious food, drinks and plenty of activities for the whole family. The boomin’ fireworks show is scheduled to go off at 9:15 p.m. from the Marina Park.

7/04 – Sebastian’s Freedom Festival and 44th Annual 4th of July Parade: The festival will be held at Riverview Park in Sebastian. There will be 4th of July festivities, events, music, food, a watermelon eating contest and fireworks. The parade will start around 8:30 a.m. and will travel down Indian River Drive.

7/23 – Indian River Lagoon Family Festival: Come out with the family and enjoy a day of fun with live entertainment, food trucks, local breweries, local vendors, farm games, bounce houses, and a fishing camp for kids! Plus enjoy our petting farm at no additional cost! Admission is free and proceeds will go to benefit restoration efforts of the Indian River Lagoon.

7/24 – Pulse Orlando Benefit at Port Canaveral: Come out and dine at the one or all of the infamous Port Canaveral restaurants where 10% of the proceeds during this event will be given to the OneOrlando Fund that is able to help victims and families of those affected.
