Melbourne Art Festival in Historic Downtown Melbourne

Thousands of people from all over the Space Coast flock to downtown Melbourne for the annual Melbourne Art Festival, where hundreds of artists showcase their finest pieces of art. The 32nd Annual Melbourne Art Festival is on April 23 and 24 in historic downtown Melbourne.

The Melbourne Art Festival has been attracting large crowds for years, and offers a handful of entertaining activities, live music, delicious food and tons of unique pieces of art. All types of art, craft and clothing will be featured at the event; oil paintings, sculptures, woodwork, metalwork, etc. It’s estimated that this year’s Melbourne Art Festival will have close to 250 art exhibits.

While browsing through the art, guests will be able to enjoy live music. The Space Coast’s most popular bands will be at the Melbourne Art Festival including Hot Pink, Jessica Ottway and Kellum Band. The bands will be playing rock, reggae, indie music and more on the stages all day. Along with art and live music, there will be plenty of food trucks and vendors serving pizza, sandwiches, BBQ and more.

The event is perfect for the whole family. There will be a “Kid’s World” for children 3 to 12 years old that is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kids can enjoy hands-on demonstrations, arts and crafts, experiments, performances and more. All of the Kid’s World activities are free.

The Melbourne Art Festival has been nationally recognized and ranked one of the top art festivals in the country. Downtown Melbourne is the perfect venue to host an art festival because the wide variety of restaurants, bars, breweries and shops located nearby.

Don’t worry about having to buy tickets, admission into the Melbourne Art Festival is free. The Melbourne Art Festival is the perfect event for locals and those just passing through to explore and discover new artists and entertainers.
