Port Canaveral Seafood Festival

Port Canaveral Seafood Festival – Thursday, February 27th – Sunday, March 2nd

The Port Canaveral Seafood Festival features only authentic local seafood prepared by Local Chefs.  The winners of the famous Chowder Cook-Off including Port Canaveral residents Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill and Baja Tavern & Eats, will be featured so make sure to stop by and taste their chowder for yourself.  This is a unique, family friendly event, complete with a Kid’s Zone and carnival rides for your little fishes. Event goers will also enjoy a fun and educational introduction to Port Canaveral’s fishing industry, with related exhibits, tours, activities and demonstrations.

There will be two stages of live entertainment with different headliners each day of the festival as well as tons of local vendors. If you’re feeling that competitive spirit, enter one of the many Port Canaveral Seafood Festival contests, and make sure your Little Mermaid comes prepared for the Little Mermaid Contest at 12pm on Saturday afternoon.

Tickets are $12 per person at the gate and $10/person in advance. Children under 12 FREE.

  1. Is the Seafood festival outside at the Port? As in people walk around and enjoy samples…….
Are the concerts inside or outside?
    Thank you

  2. Are the vendors just seafood, regular food and/or arts and crafts vendors.

  3. Went to Clint Black last night. Very confusing on the seating. Had pre paid seating , but couldn’t find the row or seats. No ushers to help. Most people were seating where they wanted. Quit cold. The food and drinks were very expensive. 16oz beer $7, one crab cake $10. Not the greatest festival!

  4. Sorry to say this but this Seafood festival stunk (being nice)! The food was terrible, stood around and watched so many people take their plates back and complain that is was under cooked or cold. The price of a plate was outrageous anywhere from 15.00 up for what? Cold shrimp and half frozen french fries. It was not worth paying 15.00 to get in and 2.00 for a soda that was not cold and 5 for frozen lemon-aid that was too tart. No where to sit except on the curb and a few areas had pole tables. I do not know if the small vendors of food were bad as I went to the large area that had the most variety. One of the girls with us got sick from the so called lobster roll. 1 out of 10 I would give it a -1. Cost to park, get in and expensive food. I had been looking forward to this for a while.
