Project Prom Queen Helping Send Local High Schoolers in Need to Prom

Project Prom Queen1

Every senior should have the opportunity to attend prom, but it can get rather expensive when you have to buy a ticket, dress, shoes, accessories and more. The Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront is collecting used prom dresses, men’s suits, purses, ties, shoes, jewelry, etc. that are good or excellent condition for Project Prom Queen.

Prom isn’t just about the glorious dresses and makeup. It’s about making a memory that will last forever, and unfortunately some high schoolers will never have the opportunity to experience this moment.

Project Prom Queen at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront was created to help provide formal dresses, suites, photos, tickets and more to Brevard County high school students, who would otherwise not be able to attend their senior proms because of their financial circumstances.

Project Prom QueenThe Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront is already accepting any donations for Project Prom Queen. Donations can be dropped off at the Hilton and/or the Space Coast Association of Realtors. Please make all donations by March 1 to any of these locations.

The Project Prom Queen event will be held on March 5, in the Hilton in Cocoa Beach. Once all of the donations are collected they are displayed in the Hilton’s ballroom for the seniors to look through. Last year, seniors had the opportunity to get their hair and makeup professionally done, along with finding a dress.
