Space Coast Lightfest at Wickham Park: Your New Favorite Holiday Tradition

More than 2.7 million twinkling lights ignite the sky and dazzle above at Wickham Park in Melbourne – it truly is a winter wonderland. The Space Coast Lightfest is a holiday tradition that locals and visitors alike look forward to all year.

This year’s Space Coast Lightfest is Nov. 21 through Jan. 1, 2017. This holiday drive-through event transforms Wickham Park into a virtual winter wonderland. Journey through the park and experience all the wonders of the holiday season.

The real star of the show (literally) is the 200-foot “Light Tunnel” exploding with all the colors of the rainbow, illuminated by 30,000 incredible holiday lights. Make sure you have your camera because this is definitely a site to see.

According to the crew over at Space Coast Lightfest, this year is bigger and better than ever. This event is fun for the whole family; who knows, it might just become your new holiday tradition.

Nov. 20: 5K run and Grand Lighting Ceremony

Nov. 21: Open to the public, carriage and hayrides

Nov. 25, 26, 27: Hayrides

Dec. 3, 4: Stroll through the lights (no cars)

Dec. 9, 10, 11: Carriage and hayrides

Dec. 11: Horse night, 6-6:30 p.m.

Dec. 13: Military appreciation night

Dec. 14: Teacher appreciation night

Dec. 16, 17, 18: Hay rides

Dec. 30, 31: Hay rides

Jan. 1: Say goodbye to the light stroll (no cars)
