Copperhead Tavern

Where: 205 5th Ave, Indialantic

Hours: 11AM–2AM every day except Sunday, when it closes at 12AM.

Food? Yes

Tucked away off 5th Ave in Indialantic, Copperhead Tavern offers a unique atmosphere and a thoughtfully compiled list of over 56 craft beers on tap. Its outdoor beer garden is lined with cozy couches and candles, ideal for a first date or catching up with old friends. Not only is Copperhead Tavern a great place to try a new beer, its kitchen is open until 2AM. Try the Pork Belly Poutine ($7.95), it is the perfect savory companion to a hoppy ale.

Coasters Pub & Biergarten

Where: 971 E Eau Gallie Blvd A, Melbourne

Hours: 11AM – 11PM every day except Friday and Saturday, when it closes at 12AM.

Coasters Pub & Biergarten opened in 1988 from a pure love of beer. Since then, this pub has grown into a center for fantastic food and extensive craft beer lists, including some of its own in-house brews. It was the first bar on the Space Coast to pour Dogfish Head beer, Stone, Cantillon, Struisse Black Albert, and loads of other unique flagship craft beers that we know today.

Coasters’ beer garden is its hidden gem. Shared picnic tables, umbrellas, and couches are surrounded by walls covered in ivy. Get ready to forget that you’re in a restaurant and not a friend’s backyard. Melbourne too far of a drive? Try Coasters Taphouse in Cocoa Beach for the same delicious food and drinks.

Hogan’s Irish Bar

Hours: 2PM – 2AM every day except for weekends, when it opens at 12PM.

At Hogan’s Irish Bar, conversation flows just as steady as the beer. This bar offers an authentic Irish atmosphere and a never-ending supply of Guinness.  Hogan’s prides itself on its revolving selection of unique craft beers. Stop in and try the newest beers on tap, you won’t be disappointed. There’s always live music to complement your beer, from bagpipes to rock and roll.

Preacher Bar

Where: 8699 Astronaut Blvd, Cape Canaveral

Hours: 11AM – 11PM every day except for weekends, when it closes at 12PM

Food? Yes

Since coming onto the Brevard food scene in 2014, Preacher Bar has made a name for itself has one of the hippest places in town to grab a craft beer and yummy food. Its decor is striking, pulling inspiration from the most regal churches and mixing it with the charm of the neighborhood pub. Neon lights, mosaics, and community tables make this spot impossible to ignore. Twin Finnegan’s

Where: 1 S Orlando Ave, Cocoa Beach

Hours: 4PM – 2AM every day except for Sunday, when it opens at 10:30AM.

Food? No

Twin Finnegan’s is the ideal spring break hideaway. The rustic, beachy decor is unlike anything else on the beach and its craft selection leaves nothing to be desired. Try the finest local beers on tap or unique national brews like Lexington Brewing and Distilling‘s Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. There are fun games galore to pull off the shelf, play with friends or make new ones. The pub is actively posting events and live music on their Facebook page, so follow along for fun things to do during the week!

Village Idiot Pub

Where:4 Harrison St #103, Cocoa

Hours: 1PM – 12AM every day except for weekends when it opens at 11AM and closes at 2AM.

Food? No

Sandwiched between Cocoa Village’s Riverfront Park and Ryan’s Village Pizza, the Village Idiot Pub offers a carefully curated menu of delicious craft beers. If there’s a unique beer you’re on the hunt for, chances are that Village Idiot will have it in stock. Their specials are as follows: $1 off bottles for Founders on Mondays, $4 Select draft beers after 6PM on Tuesdays, enjoy trivia on Wednesdays and  Thursday at 8PM, and take $1 off all cans on Thursdays.

Keep an eye out for beers from 10 Barrell Brewing, Breckenridge Brewing, Kona, Florida Beer Company, Ship Yard, Seadog, 3 Daughters, Southern Tier, Victory, Green Flash, Islamorada, Big Top, Sailfish, and Bold City all distributed by Carroll Distributing Company.
