Bagel World Café
Bagel World Café is serving up homemade bagels, made fresh every day. The owners at BWC have a handle on breakfast, lunch and coffee. The menu is simple: breakfast sandwiches, bagels, fresh ground and brewed coffee, smoothies and more. Breakfast favorites include the Eggel Bagel and the Nova Bagel. Between the wide selection fresh-made bagels, cream cheese and fillings, the possibilities are endless. BWC has locations in Titusville, Cocoa Beach and Rockledge.
Barrier Jack’s, in Cocoa Beach, is known for their home-style cooking and savory breakfast. Breakfast at Barrier Jack’s can be as simple or complex as you’d like. Breakfast favorites include the Shrimp & Grits, Barrier’s Breakfast Burrito, Eggs with Chicken Fried Steak or the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict (only served on Sundays). Grills Seafood Deck & Tiki Bar
Grills Seafood Deck & Tiki Bar is one of the fishermen’s and locals’ favorite spot to go for breakfast. Mornings at Grills consist of waterfront views and savory breakfast selections. If you want to catch breakfast here, make sure you wake up early; breakfast is from 7 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Fisherman’s favorites include the Shotgun Start: two eggs, two buttermilk pancakes, two pieces of bacon, sausage of ham steak, with your choice of hash browns, home fries or grits and toast, English muffin or a biscuit. If you have a sweet tooth, try the Bahama Cranberry Nut Bread French Toast or Cinnamon Roll Slam. Grills’ breakfast is definitely worth waking up early for.
Juice ‘N Java Café
Tucked away in downtown Cocoa Beach, Juice ‘N Java Café is your go-to spot for fresh breakfast and coffee. Breakfast sandwiches come on your choice of flaky croissants, bialy or a variety of fresh bagels, with a variety of tasty fillings, such as gooey cheese and honey maple ham. A local favorite is the Pesto Chicken Bialy, which takes a healthy spin on the breakfast sandwich. The giant bialy is topped with their homemade chicken salad, avocado, crispy bacon and creamy pesto sauce. Other breakfast basics include breakfast burritos, French toast, breakfast pastries and more. Don’t forget to grab a fresh brewed cup of coffee.
Oh Biscuit uses unique ingredients in your breakfast that you would’ve never thought of such as salmon, pork loin, fried chicken, meatloaf, ahi tuna and much more. Ever heard of tuna and grits? No? Thought so. Oh Biscuit makes grits like you’ve never had them before, and magically pairs together rare ahi tuna with parmesan grits and a grilled tomato. Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it! Try one of their unique breakfast dishes like the salmon scramble with three scrambled eggs, salmon, onions, dill and cream cheese with a biscuit on the side.
Nuzzled away in Port Canaveral, Portside Galley is serving traditional breakfast, comfort food. Two words: homemade biscuits. The fresh, warm biscuits with some melted butter are enough alone to keep us coming back for breakfast. Use them to create a breakfast sandwich and we’re sold. Portside Galley’s Eggs Benedict is simple, yet bursting with flavor (known for being some of the best around). The atmosphere at Portside Galley is laid back, the friendly staff makes you feel at home and the prices are cheap. Those who don’t live on the Space Coast probably haven’t heard of Portside Galley, but this spot is one of the local’s favorite spots to go for breakfast or lunch. If you’re looking for old-school breakfast food, this is the place to go.
Rusty’s Seafood & Oyster Bar
One of Port Canaveral’s longest running and most beloved restaurants, Rusty’s Seafood & Oyster Bar, started serving breakfast daily from 8am – 11am. Menu items include classic favorites like biscuit sandwiches, homemade muffins, coffee and orange juice. Interested in trying something new? How about Rusty’s soon-to-be-favorite Handcake Wrap – a fluffy 14″ tortilla stuffed with homemade pancakes, potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon, and syrup. Seriously, this stuff is gold.
The name says it all; everything on the menu is Simply Delicious. Everything from the Stuffed French Toast, Malted Waffles and Crepes to the Biscuits and Gravy, Quiche or Omelets are out of this world. If you’ve never been to this quaint restaurant in downtown Cocoa Beach, order the stuffed French toast, you won’t regret it: two slices of homemade bread dipped in a rich cinnamon batter and grilled to a golden brown, and stuffed with your choice of ham, cooked apples, bananas, strawberries, cream cheese, chocolate chips or peanut butter and jelly. It’s everything you’ve ever wanted in a breakfast dish, plus more.
