Top 5 Festive Cocktails to Get You Through the Holidays

It’s finally December, which means the Christmas and holiday parties are approaching rapidly. Christmas parties require food, decorations and of course, the most important thing of all: alcoholic beverages to get the party going. Don’t worry about searching the web for the best holiday drinks because we’ve gathered the best festive cocktails right here, which are sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

Candy Cane Shooters

  • ¼ cup International Delight Peppermint Chocolate Truffle
  • ¼ cup half and half
  • 1 oz. white chocolate liqueur
  • Crushed candy cane (optional)
  • Marshmallow fluff (optional)


  1. Rim the top of the shot glasses in marshmallow fluff until the rim of the glass is coated.
  2. Dip the coated rim in the crushed candy cane until it completely covers the marshmallow fluff.
  3. Shake peppermint truffle creamer, half and half and white chocolate liqueur in cocktail shaker until combined.
  4. Pour mixture into shot glasses and enjoy these great festive cocktails!

Eggnog Martinis

  • 4 oz. of dark rum
  • 1 oz. of vanilla vodka
  • 3 oz. of eggnog
  • Dash of simple syrup
  • Crushed graham cracker (optional)


  1. Place crushed graham cracker on a side dish. Rim martini glass with simple syrup and then gently dip the glass in the crushed graham cracker.
  2. Mix together dark rum, vanilla vodka, eggnog and ice in cocktail shaker and then strain the drink into the martini glasses. Enjoy!

Candy Cane Mojitos

Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 3 oz. of rum
  • 2 tablespoons of crushed candy canes
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • Sparkling water
  • 2 candy canes


  1. Pour 1 ½ oz. of rum into tall glasses.
  2. Top glasses with layers of ice, 1 tablespoon of crushed candy canes and ½ cup of mint leaves.
  3. Fill glasses with sparkling water and garnish with candy canes. Yum!

Kahlua Hot Chocolate

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • 1 oz. Kahlua coffee liqueur
  • Mini marshmallows, salted caramel and chocolate syrup (optional)


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine milk, cocoa powder, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. After heated through, remove from heat and stir in Kahlua.
  2. Serve and garnish with mini marshmallows, chocolate syrup and salted caramel. Oh man, this is going to be good!

Holiday Moscow Mules

  • 4 oz. vodka
  • 8 oz. ginger beer
  • ¼ cup frozen cranberries
  • 4 oz. cranberry juice


  1. Add frozen cranberries and ice cubes into cup.
  2. Pour in vodka, ginger been and cranberry juice into glasses or mugs. Give it a good stir and enjoy!
