The more breweries, the better! Our friendly neighbor, Indian River County, is welcoming their third and largest brewery on Thursday, June 23: Walking Tree Brewery. The brewery and taproom is located in building built in the 1940s as a warehouse for the Navy during World War II, according to the TC Palm. The owners have been dreaming of opening Walking Tree Brewery for years. After making their dreams become a reality and spending more than $300,000 in renovations, the brewery is finally opening.
The brewers and staff at Walking Tree are combining creativity with science to produce a large-scale selection of innovative and delicious craft beer. From traditional pale ales, to creamy stouts, Walking Tree Brewery will have what you’re looking for. With a mix of custom woodworks and urban decor, this brewery is looking sleek and modern as ever.
Walking Tree Brewery has a large 20-barrel system; one batch going through the system produces about 620 gallons. Now that’s a lot of beer! The owners hope to have food trucks at the brewery every week, and plans on serving craft sodas and brew coffee in the near future.
