Where to Find the Best Burgers in Brevard: Part 2

Even when burgers are bad, they are still pretty good. Beef, turkey or veggie medleys piled high with cheese and divine toppings between fresh-baked buns. We’re here for it. These local jaunts are getting creative with the traditional burger formula, adding coleslaw or a fried egg to break open with your first bite. Here’s where to find the best burgers in Brevard. Preacher Bar

Preacher Bar is known for its “soulful food and abbey ales.” In other words, it’s an awesome place to grab a beer and snack on tasty food. Their burgers are real standouts, with the Preacher Burger ($11.50) as a real standout. The 8 oz. of fresh ground Angus beef is topped with Applewood bacon, topped with Tillamook cheddar, grilled onions, and a brush of bbq sauce. Preacher Bar also serves a bison burger stacked with flavor and toppings galore. Not to mention, Preacher’s french fries are the best.

Coasters Pub & Biergarten

Coaster’s Pub & Biergarten, founded in 1988, is a beer aficionado’s paradise. The founder established Coaster’s as one of the first five brewpub systems in Central Florida. As the love for craft beer has grown, Coaster’s remains a staple. Even better, its burgers are out of this world. The spot offers an Exotic burger, the type of meat rotating seasonally. Cocoa Beach Ale House

Located a block from the beach, Cocoa Beach Ale House serves up tasty burgers to pair with its extensive beer menu. Do not underestimate a tiny café’s ability to create a big, amazing burger. This spot offers endless delicious options with a tropical flare. The Crackers Island Burger, on the lunch menu, includes a grilled pineapple and all of the traditional fix-ins on a 1/2 pound patty. The burgers get even more creative on the dinner menu, with the spicy Cracker-toa Burger, piled high with grilled onions, cheddar, jalapeños, onion rings, and barbecue sauce. A local favorite, Ichabod’s serves huge juicy burgers in two laid-back locations. Both the Melbourne and Indialantic spots craft their burgers with top-quality ingredients. The Mexican burger is topped with chili, jalapeños, and pepper jack cheese. It may be spicy, but the flavors are well worth it. Quam’s Schoolhouse

Quam’s Schoolhouse is currently leading with the most crafty burgers in Brevard County. This burger and sandwich joint opened last Spring by Russ Quam, a former teacher in Titusville. Too Cool Café

Too Cool Café really is too cool, from the service and decor down to its menu options. Try the Goat Cheese Burger, topped with its namesake, caramelized onions, and lemon honey aioli.
